VW Campervan Joins the Fleet

Well I have given into public pressure and bought a Volkwagen Camper Van. It is a lovely 1972 model that has been restored over a few years. The previous owner finished it in white and black

My husband restores old Bentleys and Rolls Royces so I have asked Rupert at Grange Classic Cars, who does all the veneering in them, to build me a stunning Art-Deco interior.The cabinetry will have beautiful light birch book-matched veneer with ebony cross-banding. There is a fully fitted out kitchen and a dining table with an inlaid chessboard. The beautiful interior will have concealed integrated strip lighting so that you can see what you are doing when you are cooking supper and fabulous Tiffany lamps to give you some mood lighting when you just want to kick back and sip champagne.

The campervan will sleep two adults and two children in a rock-and-roll bed and  two hammocks.

I am really excited about my latest project and can't wait to see the camper finished.
