I have a superb collection of classic cars including British, European and American cars. My oldest car is a 1936 Rover 10 and is a very interesting drive, it certainly makes you appreciate the sophistication of modern cars. However, I’ll stick with classic cars as I really can’t abide a modern car that presumes to tell me what to do!My favourite car to ‘drive’ is my Triumph TR6. When you get it right it is the closest you will get to flying without leaving the ground. If you get it wrong it will scare you. My convertible Mustang is just the best cruising car ever, and I drive it myself for most of the summer. If I want to really scare myself then it’s the 1966 Mustang GT350. The 302 cubic inch engine has a lot more horsepower than the original spec (340bhp) and there are plenty of chassis upgrades to harness the power. My family are all petrol heads; the Morris Minor convertible has been owned by son and daughter since they were nine and six respectively. William’s passion for classic cars has continued and now that he is eighteen he owns and drives the Rat Rod and the Mini, and spends a lot of time in the workshops.I have a real passion my cars and decided to make them available for self-drive hire so that you may enjoy them as well.
Three of our cars have featured in Heartbeat, and our Bentley recently starred in the Christmas promotion of McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet on YTV.
